This is a two part poll for those who have experience trying to access hormones and or top/bottom surgery.
The purpose of the poll is to collect some quick community data for my Med X Ed presentation on the informed consent vs World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) standards of care, and it will remain open until Thursday (24th).
The late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries reversed such tolerance, however, as charismatic spiritual leaders and barnstorming politicians rejected the values of our nation’s founders.
Spurred on by Anthony Comstock, America’s most feared enforcer of morality, new laws were enacted banning pornography, contraception, and abortion, with Comstock proposing that the word “unclean” be branded on the foreheads of homosexuals.
A sex worker who murdered a pensioner she had been stealing money from then set up an 'elaborate sham' to cover her tracks has been jailed for 20 years.
Harriet Davison, 88, was beaten and suffocated by Beverley James - who worked as a carer by day and a sex chat worker by night - in her sheltered accommodation flat in Sunderland in July last year.
Mr Justice Openshaw said the mother-of-three must spend at least twenty years behind bars and branded her version of events as 'outrageous lies'.
James, who earned extra cash by working on sex chat phone lines, told police at the scene of the murder that there had been a mystery intruder and stuck to her bizarre story throughout.
She told jurors she has seen the intruder beating Mrs Davison with a radio and that he had made her lie on top of the pensioner.
James said the bald attacker, who was wearing a Sunderland football shirt, had made her light a cigarette and blow smoke onto his penis, put a wire around her neck, hit her with a lamp and stuffed a stocking in her mouth.
He said: 'I have no doubt that this report of a burglary in August 2009 was an invention by the defendant.
'The only reason for such an invention must be to cover up the fact she had been systematically stealing from Mrs Davison over some considerable period.
Prosecutor David Hatton had told the court it was not possible to pinpoint an exact motive for the attack on Mrs Davison, which left her with a fractured cheekbone, fractured ribs, horrific bruising to her body and the throw from her bed stuffed into her mouth.
